There has been a hardware and lumber store on the corner of Main Street and Lawrence Avenue in Yoder since the late 1890's. the building we are in now was opened in 1928 on the same site as the original building. A major remodel job was done on the store in 1999-2000.

Yoder Hardware and Lumber is truly an old-time hardware store with horseshoes, hand tools, crocks, butter churns, hand meat grinders and sausage stuffers. We sell nails in the bulk, weighing each purchase on an old metal scale. We carry a full line of Radio Flyer metal wagons, tricycles, bicycles and toys, as well as their line of miniatures and collectables.

One of the specialties of the store is our oil lamp selection. We carry oil lamps and lanterns in many sizes, price range and description. We also carry most of the parts to fix up your old lamps and lanterns. Aladdin Mantle Lamps is where we "shine". We have a full line of Aladdin parts and shades to fit your new lamps and most parts for your old lamps.
